We are looking for current members and new members who are interested in getting involved with CPRS Regina, either as a director on our board or on a shorter-term basis to support various events and projects. Volunteers will have an opportunity to connect with other communications professionals and receive mentorship/menteeship experience as well as project management experience to help with their career trajectory.
As one of 13 member societies of CPRS National, we offer members many of benefits including community networking and mentorship. CPRS Regina Board of Directors are required to be CPRS Regina members; however, outside applicants will also be considered and are encouraged to apply.

CPRS REGINA BOARD POSITIONS
Director of Professional Development
Work closely with the Director of Programming to plan, execute, and measure CPRS Regina's Professional Development (PD) activities
Produce marketing assets and other communications deliverables required to promote PD opportunities via email, social media, and through partner organizations
Work closely with other Directors to develop and implement marketing plans for promoting CPRS Regina and CPRS National PD activities
Promote National CPRS PD activities and relevant content on social media channels
Perform required participant engagement and venue bookings/setup for virtual, in-person, or hybrid PD networking sessions and events
Additional projects as desired
Director of Recruitment & Retention
Recruit new members using researched strategic methods
Retain current members (work with Membership Director on lapsed memberships)
Work closely with the directors of programming, professional development, and membership to build a year-long strategic plan
Director of Accreditation
Liaise with CPRS National on APR Accreditation
Liaise with CPRS National on PRK Accreditation
Work with local APR candidates during their accreditation year
Work with local PRK candidates during their accreditation year
Promote the APR program to local candidates
Promote the PRK exam to local candidates and universities: including U of Regina, U of S and Sask Polytechnic
Build a strategy to promote the program locally
Recruit & answer local APR and PRK inquiries
EVENT/PROJECT VOLUNTEERS
We are always looking for volunteers who are more interested in committing their time to specific CPRS Regina events or projects, typically on a more shorter-term basis than volunteering as a board member. Many of our volunteers come up with their own ideas for projects and events. We are always looking for a new and fresh perspective!
